What is the Adam Burfield Enterprise Award?
The Adam Burfield Enterprise Award is an opportunity for you to develop a business idea and your enterprising skills. It will allow you to work collaboratively and then to pitch an idea to help support one of the 4 companies involved in the competition! You will create your own business proposal to help the company you have chosen!
Who can participate?
The Adam Burfield Enterprise Award is a competition for students from Years 5-13!
Category 1 includes Years 5-8 students and Category 2 includes Years 9-13 students. Everyone is welcome to participate, from beginners to advanced entrepreneurs. Make sure to call in your friends too!
Why participate?
The Adam Burfield Enterprise Award is a unique opportunity exclusive to a selection of GEMS schools. This is an opportunity for you to develop your own entrepreneurship skills. This is your time to shine!
Timeline
First-round entries are to be submitted by Friday, 19th April 2024
Schools to submit 10 finalists (5 from each category) by Friday, 26th April 2024
Feedback is to be given to finalists on Friday, 3rd May 2024
Final presentations submitted on Friday, 24th May 2024
Trial run at GFS on Saturday, 8th June 2024
Live final in GFS performance hall on Wednesday, 12th June 2024
